The Acropolis is the most significant sight, with many impressive monuments on top. Museums and galleries decorate the center of Athens, with the most important being the new Acropolis Museum.

A city break in Athens may also include shopping and a vibrant nightlife. Have a romantic walk through the picturesque alleys of Plaka and shop at the flea markets of Monastiraki or at the international brand stores of Ermou street. Late at night, enjoy a drink in fashionable bars in Monastiraki, Thissio or high-class Kolonaki, and dance in the lively bars in the Gazi area.

Outside the Old Town is the new town of Monemvasia, called Nea Monemvasia. In the close distance are nice beaches, organized or secluded.

Ioannina

Visit Ioannina, a beautiful city in the region of Epirus, built around the beautiful lake of Pamvotida, to experience its multicultural environment and rich history. The culture of the city is strongly connected to this lake and promenading at the borders of the lake is a favorite thing to do there. In Ioannina, visitors can see the Ottoman Mosque of Veli Pasha and the Byzantine Castle.

While in town, do not miss the delicious local liqueurs and sweets, as well as the Museum of Historical Wax Figures Pavlos Vrellis and the Cave of Perama.
