Athens: a great city break destination

Certainly, the most important Greek city to visit in Athens, the capital of the country. Athens is a great city break destination, even in winter, with a rich history and cosmopolitan atmosphere. The Acropolis is the most significant sight, with many impressive monuments on top. Museums and galleries decorate the center of Athens, with the most important being the new Acropolis Museum.

A city break in Athens may also include shopping and a vibrant nightlife. Have a romantic walk through the picturesque alleys of Plaka and shop at the flea markets of Monastiraki or at the international brand stores of Ermou street. Thessaloniki
